Dalam pelaksanaannya, terlihat satu persatu lampu lampion yang dilepaskan warga berterbangan di langit di Dusun Karangnangka, Desa Bojong, Kecamatan Parigi, Kabupaten Pangandaran, Minggu (9/10/2022) malam.
Pelaksanaan pelepasan 100 lampu lampion ini diinisia oleh para pemuda dan pemudi setempat.
Koordinator pelaksana, Adang Jaelani menyampaikan, pelepasan lampu lampion ini merupakan rangkaian acara dalam rangka panen raya.
“Dan ini, biasa kita laksanakan setiap tahun sekali. Kita adakan, sambil bersilaturahmi bersama masyarakat dan tokoh-tokohnya,” katanya.
Selain sebagai ajang hiburan, 100 lampu lampion ini dilepaskan untuk simbol do’a warga setempat panen raya.
“Lampu lampion yang diterbangkan ini simbol harapan kita, semoga doa kita tersampaikan,” ungkap Adang.
Apalagi, di musim hujan di daerahnya itu merupakan satu tempat yang sempat di landa banjir.
“Sebelum acara ini, kemarin-kemarin juga kan disini sempat banjir. Tapi, bagaimana caranya agar kita bisa silaturahmi dan tetap bersyukur jangan (bencana) banjir ini menjadi beban buat kita,” jelasnya. (*)
