LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Ketua Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (PHRI) Kabupaten Pangandaran Agus Mulyana mengatakan, mulai tanggal 18 sampai 20 Januari 2023 pihaknya akan melaksanakan rapat kerja daerah (Rakerda) III PHRI Provinsi Jabar.
Rakerda yang ketiga kalinya ini dilaksanakan di Pangandaran dan diikuti oleh anggota BPC PHRI dari 25 Kabupaten/Kota se_Jawa Barat.
Rakerda ini, merupakan satu upaya untuk meyakinkan bahwa Pangandaran aman dan nyaman dikunjungi wisatawan.
“Nanti, kami akan sampaikan profil objek wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Pangandaran saat Rakerda berlangsung,” kata Agus kepada sejumlah wartawan, Selasa (17/1/2023) sore.
Selain itu, pihaknya juga ingin BPC PHRI Pangandaran dibawa ke Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) PHRI mendatang.
Menurutnya, ada beberapa alasan yang logis kenapa Rakerda ketiga ini dilaksanakan di Pangandaran.
Satu di antaranya, anggota PHRI ingin mengembalikan atau membangkitkan Pangandaran seperti sebelum pandemi.
Biasanya, sebelum pandemi jika libur natal dan tahun baru (nataru), okupansi hotel di Pangandaran akan ada kenaikan yang signifikan. Bahkan, bisa lebih dari 70%.
“Namun, kenyataannya kondisi pertumbuhan hunian belum bisa terjadi. Libur nataru kemarin, kita tidak sesuai target, hanya 20%. Malah, pasca libur nataru di weekend pertama lebih ramai,” ungkapnya.
Agus menjelaskan, membangkitkan animo masyarakat untuk berkegiatan seperti sebelum pandemi saat ini bukanlah hal yang mudah.
Karena, banyak faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan para wisatawan untuk singgah dan berlibur di tempat seperti biasanya.
“Jika melihat catatan tahun lalu, kondisi seperti itu tidak bisa berlarut-larut. Pariwisata ini, adalah sektor paling terdampak dengan dibatasinya masyarakat untuk berkegiatan di luar,” tegasnya. (*)
