LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Belum diketahui penyebabnya, puluhan hektar lahan perkebunan di Pangandaran mengalami kebakaran hebat.
Peristiwa ini terjadi di wilayah Dusun Paliken Desa Pasir Geulis Kecamatan Padaherang Kabupaten Pangandaran, Rabu (25/10/2023) sekitar pukul 13.00 WIB.
Tidak hanya pepohonan yang nyaris ludes terbakar, akibat kebakaran tersebut, dua bangunan warung kopi dan satu saung milik warga ludes terbakar.
Kepala Desa Pasir Geulis, Yoyo Sudaryo membenarkan adanya kejadian kebakaran yang terjadi di wilayahnya.
“Kebakaran terjadi mulai sekitar jam 1 siang, api merambat ke rumput ilalang, pepohonan, dua bangunan warung dan satu saung server wiffi,” katanya melalui WhatsApp, Rabu (25/10/2023).
Saat ini, kondisi api masih melahap lahan perkebunan karena kencangnya angin dan banyak material yang mudah terbakar.
“Saya juga sudah menghubungi tim Damkar dari Pangandaran dan mereka sedang diperjalanan. Mudah mudahan, cepat sampai dan cepat padam,” ungkapnya.
Sembari menunggu mobil Damkar, saat ini pihaknya bersama warga setempat sedang berupaya melakukan pemadaman api dengan menggunakan alat seadanya.
“Untuk penyebabnya kita belum tahu, karena masih upaya pemadaman. Termasuk, untuk kerugian, kita belum bisa ditaksiran kerugiannya,” jelasnya. (*)
