LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Dua Tersangka pengedar uang palsu di Pangandaran, ternyata satu tersangka hanya tamatan sekolah dasar (SD).
Satu tersangka ini berinisial A (27) asal Pasuruan Jawa Timur dan satu tersangka ini berinisial HSM (26) warga Kalijati Kecamatan Sidamulih Kabupaten Pangandaran.
Kapolres Pangandaran melalui Kapolsek Pangandaran, Kompol Usep Supiyan mengatakan, profesi kedua tersangka awalnya tidak mempunyai pekerjaan dan tersangka A hanya tamatan SD.
“Membuat uang palsu, satu tersangka A belajar di google dan melihat press release dari satu instansi kepolisian entah dimana,” kata Usep kepada sejumlah wartawan di Mapolres Pangandaran, Senin (27/11/2023).
Tapi, disituh (dalam press release) dijelaskan secara rinci dan akhirnya (tersangka A) mencoba untuk mencetak uang palsu dan berhasil menjual ke satu tersangka pertama berinisial HSM.
“Dari 200 ribu tersangka pertama (HSM) mendapat uang palsu sebanyak Rp 2 juta pecahan seratus ribu yang tentu nilai tersebut tidak ada harganya karena uang palsu,” paparnya.
Sementara untuk penjualan uang palsu ini, sebelum masuk ke aplikasi (Shopie) tersangka A mengawali dengan menggunakan Medsos lain.
“Padahal, aslinya menjual uang palsu,” kata Usep.
Saat konferensi pers, satu tersangka berinisial HSM mengatakan, target pengendaran uang palsu tersebut yaitu agen perbankkan dan tempat penjual minuman keras (Miras).
“Toko Miras, beli satu minuman yang harganya Rp 85 ribu dan target kedua ke minimarket. Jadi, baru Rp 400 ribu uang palsu yang dikeluarkan di Pangandaran,” jelasnya.
Sebelumnya, Tim Reskrim Polsek Pangandaran Polres Pangandaran Polda Jabar berhasil menangkap dua tersangka pengendaran uang palsu (Upal).
Kejadian pengendaran uang palsu ini terjadi pada 17 November 2023, kemudian dikembangkan pada 25 November 2023.
Korban pertama adalah satu minimarket yang ada di Pangandaran Sunset dan ada laporan satu konsumen menggunakan uang palsu. (*)
