LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Tim Reskrim Polsek Pangandaran Polres Pangandaran berhasil tangkap dua tersangka pengendaran uang palsu (Upal).
Kejadian pengendaran uang palsu ini terjadi pada 17 November 2023, kemudian dikembangkan pada 25 November 2023.
Korban pertama adalah satu minimarket yang ada di Pangandaran Sunset dan ada laporan satu konsumen menggunakan uang palsu.
Kapolres Pangandaran melalui Kapolsek Pangandaran Kompol Usep Supiyan mengatakan, kasus ini berhasil diungkap setelah ada seseorang yang melakukan transaksi di satu minimarket di sekitar Pangandaran Sunset.
Uang yang digunakan tersebut awalnya diduga palsu yang kemudian pengelola minimarket melapor ke Polsek Pangandaran.
“Saya perintahkan Kanit Reskrim Bripka Tomy untuk melakukan penyelidikan sehingga bisa ditangkap satu orang tersangka,” kata Usep kepada sejumlah wartawan di Mapolres Pangandaran, Senin (27/11/2023).
Tersangka pertama, yaitu berinisial HSM dan dari pengakuannya uang palsu tersebut dibeli dari aplikasi Shopie dengan menggunakan satu toko yang sudah dikantongi.
Kemudian dikembangkan dan di rumahnya ditemukan barang bukti berupa uang palsu sebanyak Rp 2 juta.
Kemudian, pihaknya melakukan pengembangan lagi dari pengakuan tersangka.
Sehingga, dapat ditemukan bahwa drop point untuk pengiriman uang palsu ini berasal dari Pasuruan Jawa Timur.
“Kita dapat nomor handphonenya, dapat identitasnya walaupun sempat dipalsukan alamatnya yaitu di Jakarta. Tapi, hasil penelusuran IT dan drop point untuk mengejar ke Jawa Timur,” katanya.
Sesampainya di Jawa Timur Pasuruan tepatnya di Kecamatan Rembang ditemukan satu tersangka berinisial A.
“Dari tersangka berinisial A ditemukan berupa seperangkat alat komputer, alat pemotong kertas dan uang yang diduga palsu pecahan Rp 20 ribu, Rp 100 ribu dan Rp 50 ribu,” jelasnya.
Kemudian tersangka dan barang bukti dibawa ke Polsek Pangandaran dan saat itu juga dilakukan langkah penyidikan.
“Kami akan meminta keterangan dari para ahli dan uji di laboratorium forensik tentang keasliannya,” kata Usep.
Untuk total uang palsu yang didapat dari tersangka yaitu sebesar Rp 168 juta dengan lembaran rupiah uang palsu.
Dalam melakukan aksinya, tersangka diduga berkerja sendiri karena untuk dugaan sindikat belum ada pengakuan dari dua tersangka.
“Kita juga melihat dari IT yang mereka kuasai dan kemudian kita melakukan pengecekan terhadap handphonenya, tersangka tidak ada melibatkan orang lain,” jelasnya. (*)
