Hal tersebut disampaikan Dedi Mulyadi disela sela mendampingi Prabowo Subianto menemui sejumlah nelayan di sekitar TPI Cikidang Pantai Timur Pangandaran, Rabu (11/10/2023).
Datang ke Pangandaran Dedi mengaku karena ingin membantu membersihkan sampah di bibir pantai juga.
“Karena, saya kesini (Pangandaran) tidak sendiri loh. Tapi, saya bawa teman-teman hampir 1000 orang untuk ikut bersihkan sampah di sini. Boleh, di cek (orangnya),” katanya kepada sejumlah wartawan.
Orang-orangnya, masih berasal dari sekitar warga di Priangan Timur seperti dari Ciamis, Banjar dan juga Pangandaran.
“Ya, mereka membersihkan sampah di pantai. Tapi kan, kalau Pangandaran tidak terlalu kotor,” paparnya.
Sebenarnya, masalah sampah itu adalah masalah yang terakumulasi dari sikap warga itu sendiri.
“Dan mohon maaf juga, itu terjadi karena ketidakpekaan pemerintah,” ungkapnya.
Misalnya begini, sampah itu dimulai dari kebiasaan orang yang membuang sampah sembarangan.
“Nah, kalau ada sampah di laut berarti itu kan akibat membuang sampah ke sungai. Dari sungai terbawa arus ke laut, dan itu terjadi dimana-mana dan seperti nyaris tanpa pencegahan,” kata Dedi. (*)
