LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Sungai Citanduy meluap, beberapa titik badan tanggul di wilayah Desa Banjarharja Kecamatan Kalipucang Kabupaten Pangandaran nyaris jebol.
Terlihat di lapangan, kondisi aliran air sungai Citanduy yang keruh berwarna kuning kecoklatan mengalir sangat deras akibat kiriman dari hulu.
Ada tiga titik di badan tanggul tersebut yang mengalami longsor atau abrasi akibat tergerus aliran sungai Citanduy yang deras.
Sekitar 185 hektare lahan persawahan di wilayah Desa Banjarharja dan Desa Cibuluh berpotensi terkena dampak.
Kepala Dusun Sindangsari, Luthfi Nispi Fajriah mengatakan, tanggul nyaris jebol akibat curah hujan yang tinggi di wilayah Pangandaran dan daerah lainnya.
“Derasnya air sungai kiriman dari hulu, sehingga air sungai Citanduy meluap dan menggerus tiga titik badan tanggul,” jelasnya di sekitar tanggul, Kamis (4/5/2023).
Kejadiannya mulai tanggal 3 Mei 2023 kemarin, ada tiga titik badan tanggul sungai Citanduy yang nyaris jebol.
“Tiga titik ini yang paling parah yaitu titik tanggul yang lebarnya sekitar 5-8 meter dan panjang sekitar 30-50 meter. Kalau dua titik lainnya, masih mendingan,” ungkapnya.
Atas kejadian ini, pihaknya bersama personel Babinsa dan babinkamtibmas berupaya mendorong agar tanggul tersebut secepatnya dibangun.
“Kita juga sudah berkoordinasi dengan pihak BBWS dan pihak terkait lainnya. Karena, ini bukan bersifat biasa tapi sudah urgent dan harus segera diatasi,” kata Lutfhi.
Karena, ada banyak dampak ketika tanggul sungai Citanduy jebol. Apalagi, wilayah ini merupakan perbatasan Desa Banjarharja dan Desa Cibuluh.
“Jadi, bukan hanya warga di sini saja yang terkena dampak tapi juga warga di Desa Cibuluh,” tegasnya. (Tedy)
