LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Ketika hujan deras, sebuah bangunan mesjid senilai Rp 1 miliar di Pangandaran ambruk.
Diketahui, peristiwa ini menimpa bangunan mesjid Uswatun Hasanah di Kampung Cimandala RT 01/03 Dusun/Desa Pamotan, Kecamatan Kalipucang, Kabupaten Pangandaran.
Mesjid berumur 14 tahun dan berukuran panjang 20 dan lebar 20 meter ambruk pada Minggu (9/10/2022) malam.
Pengurus Mesjid Uswatun Hasanah, Sururi (54) menyampaikan, sebelum ku’bah, atap dan sebagian dinding bangunan mesjid ambruk pada hari Minggu sekitar jam 10 lebih ada guncangan gempa.
“Sebelum ambruk, kemarin (9/10/2022) siang ada gempa yang katanya terjadi di Cilacap tapi terasa kesini,” katanya, Senin (10/10/2022).
Atas ambruknya bangunan mesjid tersebut, selain genteng dan balok kayu penyangga atap, sejumlah peralatan di mesjid seperti pengeras suara juga mengalami rusak berat.
“Semua ancur, kerugiannya mungkin ada sekitar Rp 1 miliar,” jelasnya.
Selain ada bantuan dari donatur, menurutnya dulu untuk membangun mesjid ini dibangun secara swadaya masyarakat selama 7 bulan.
“Sekarang malah ambruk, padahal hari Kamis malam Jum’at besok kita mau maulid nabi Muhammad atau biasa kita sebut muludan,” ungkapnya.
Kini, Ia hanya berharap dengan kejadian ambruknya bangunan mesjid ini ada pihak terkait yang menyumbangkan sebagian rezekinya untuk membangun kembali.
“Ya, mudah mudahan kang ada bantuan untuk membangun mesjid lagi dari Pemerintah juga yang lainnya,” harapnya. (*)
