LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Dalam upaya percepatan penurunan stunting di Kabupaten Pangandaran, Wakil Bupati Ujang Endin Indrawan sekaligus Ketua Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (TPPS) memimpin rapat koordinasi Tingkat Kabupaten dalam Percepatan Penurunan Stunting. Rabu, (06/12/2023).
Rapat tersebut dilaksanakan berdasarkan Perpres Nomor 72 Tahun 2021 tentang Percepatan Penurunan Stunting serta guna menurunkan prevalensi stunting di Kabupaten Pangandaran.
Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Pangandaran, Yadi Sukmayadi mengatakan berdasarkan data yang masuk jumlah stunting di Kabupaten Pangandaran terus megalami penurunan
Menanggapi hal itu, Wabup ingin memastikan kembali bahwa jumlah kasus stunting tersebut adalah jumlah yang sebenarnya atau angka yang seperti gunung es, nampak di permukaan saja sedangkan didalam besar.
“Di Kabupaten Pangandaran, 8 aksi masih perlu ditingkatkan, perlu diperhatikan lagi, lebih semangat lagi,” ujar Wabup.
Menurut Wabup, ada banyak faktor mengapa kasus stunting ada di masyarakat.
“Stunting tidak berdiri sendiri, banyak pengaruh yaitu tingkat ekonomi, status sosial, dan pendidikan berpengaruh. Hampir 95% kasus stunting dialami oleh yang kurang beruntung maka dari itu kita perlu melakukan intervensi dari berbagai sisi, ” jelasnya.
Wabup menegaskan kembali agar para Kepala Desa dan Camat selalu mengawasi perkembangan kasus stunting.
