LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Kepala Dinas parawisata dan budaya (Disparbud) Kabupaten Pangandaran Jawa Barat, Tonton Guntari menyebut objek wisata di Kabupaten Pangandaran mengalami penurunan pengunjung.
Menurut data kunjungan libur Natal dan tahun baru (Nataru), merosotnya pengunjung terjadi dari tanggal 24 hingga 28 Desember.
Pada Sabtu 23 Desember angka kunjungan ke pantai Pangandaran sebanyak 41.241. Sementara pada tanggal 24 Desember sekitar 38.789 pengunjung.
Sedangkan, tanggal 25 Desember atau hari Natal, angka pengunjung menurun drastis menjadi 22.450. Penurunan tersebut terus bergulir hingga 28 Desember sekitar 10.941.
Bukan hanya pantai pangandaran, penurunan tersebut dialami di empat destinasi lain yakni Pantai Karapyak, Pantai Batu Karas, Pantai Batu Hiu dan green canyon.
Pada 24 Desember, kunjungan di pantai Karapyak sekitar 4.848 dan menurun pada 28 Desember menjadi 1.848.
Sedangkan pantai batu karas dari 9.745 pengunjung menjadi 2.425. Objek wisata Batu Hiu dari 3.865 menurun drastis menjadi 834.
Sementara itu, Objek Wisata Green Canyon dari 1.739 menurun menjadi 689 pengunjung dari tanggal 24 hingga 28 Desember.
Tonton mengatakan, penurunan pengunjung bukan dari dampak gempa bumi yang melanda kabupaten Pangandaran pada Kamis, 28 Desember lalu.
“Gempa tidak berpengaruh” Ujar Tonton saat di wawancarai sejumlah wartawan Jum’at, (29/12/2023).
Meski demikian, ia meyakini pada Sabtu, 30 Desember mendatang, wisata di kabupaten Pangandaran akan mengalami lonjakan pengunjung.
“Kemungkinan, kalau hari sabtu tamu pengendara motor datang kesini (pangandaran) yang mau bermalam tahun baruan”, katanya.
Selain itu, penduduk lokal juga akan berdatangan ke pangandaran pada hari minggu untuk merayakan pergantian tahun.
“Kalau menurut saya sih fifty-fifty antara pengunjung lokal dan tamu. Itu prediksi saya” ucap Tonton. (art).
