LENSAPANGANDARAN.COM – Tidak ada angin kencang ataupun hujan deras, atap bangunan ruangan kelas sekolah dasar (SD) di Pangandaran seketika ambruk.
Peristiwa ini terjadi di satu bangunan SD Negeri 2 Banjarharja Kecamatan Kalipucang Kabupaten Pangandaran, Minggu (15/10/2023) sekitar pukul 09.00 WIB.
Beruntung, saat kejadian tidak ada aktivitas anak-anak di sekitar bangunan sekolah tersebut.
Pasca ambruknya atap satu ruangan bangunan tersebut, terlihat banyak barang-barang yang rusak.
Selain guru-guru dan komite, ada juga perangkat Desa dan Bhabinkamtibmas yang langsung melihat kejadian tersebut.
Ketua Komite SD Negeri 2 Banjarharja, Ruspendi mengatakan, menurut anggota komite memang kejadiannya sekitar jam 9 pagi.
“Tapi, alhamdulilah saat kejadian atap sekolah ambruk terjadi di hari libur. Kalau kejadiannya hari-hari biasa mungkin ada korban,” katanya, Minggu (15/10/2023) siang.
Saat kejadian tidak ada orang yang beraktivitas di dalam ruangan. Biasanya, kadang ada orang di dalam ruangan.
Atap satu ruangan bangunan SD Negeri 2 Banjarharja ambruk karena kondisinya memang sudah lapuk.
“Kata ibu kepala sekolah, bangunan ini sudah lama diajukan tapi belum terealisasi,” paparnya.
Sementara satu ruangan bangunan yang atapnya ambruk ini, awalnya merupakan ruangan kantor guru-guru.
“Tapi, setelah kayu atapnya terlihat melengkung (rusak) makanya ruangan gurunya dipindahkan. Mungkin sudah ada sekitar satu tahun dipindahkan,” jelasnya.
Memang, kondisi bangunan yang ambruk sudah lama belum direhab. “Mungkin sudah ada sekitar 10 tahun lebih,” kata Ruspendi. (*)
