Sobirin mengatakan, koperasi tugu Cijulang ini berdiri sejak tahun 1930.”Kalau saya masuk menjadi pengurus sejak tahun 2000’an,” ungkapnya kepada sejumlah wartawan di kantor koperasi tugu Cijulang, Rabu (21/6/2023).
Bidang usaha di koperasi tugu Cijulang ini dibagi dua yaitu, bidang usah simpan pinjam dan bidang usaha pusat.
Bidang usaha pusat ini terdiri dari toko yang biasa disebut konsumsi, penginapan dan sewa gedung olahraga.
“Untuk jumlah anggota, saat ini hampir tidak ada yang aktif. Malah, bisa dibilang 20-30 orang yang masih aktif. Selebihnya kurang begitu aktif, terutama yang memiliki utang dan macet,” jelasnya.
Sementara dahulu sejak koperasi tugu Cijulang masih sehat, itu memiliki anggota sekitar 400 orang.
“Dan sekarang tinggal sekitar 200 orang, bahkan kurang,” ungkap Sobirin.
Sementara jumlah utang anggota kepada koperasi tugu Cijulang yaitu totalnya sekitar di angka Rp 5,2 miliar.
“Sedangkan, untuk uang tabungan murid, kita punya utang ke SD itu sekitar Rp 2,9 miliar. Yang istilah di kita sebenarnya bukan tabungan, tapi tabungan KMA atau kredit modal asing,” paparnya.
Sobirin menegaskan, Koperasi Tugu Cijulang mempunyai utang sekitar Rp 2,9 miliar terhadap 6 SD di Kecamatan Cijulang.
“Di antaranya, SD Negeri 1 Cijulang, SD Negeri 2 Cijulang, SD Negeri 1 Kondangjajar, SD Negeri 2 Kondangjajar, SD Negeri 3 Kertayasa dan SD Negeri 3 Batu Karas,” paparnya. (*)
