Titik kumpul peserta pawai di depan kantor Desa Pangandaran di Jalan Kidang Pananjung, Selasa (21/03/2023) malam.
Peserta pawai berbaris sambil memegang obor dan berjalan berkeliling Desa Pangandaran, dengan pengawalan mobil patroli polisi kordinator pawai memandu para peserta pawai sambil mengucapkan takbir dan bersholawat.
Nampak para peserta pawai obor berbaris membentang memenuhi badan jalan yang dilalui. Emak-emak dan anak-anak berada di barisan paling depan, mereka nampak bersukacita sambil membawa obor.
Sebagian warga ada yang menggunakan sepeda motor maupun mobil bak terbuka, dan iring- iringan ini mengular hingga sejauh 3 kilometer.
Salah seorang peserta pawai obor, Aap mengatakan, ia sengaja ikut serta pawai obor menyambut Bulan Suci Ramadan dengan cucu nya.
” Saya ikut pawai obor sama cucu untuk ikut memeriahkan, kan bentar lagi bulan puasa,” kata Aap.
Aap mengaku ikut pawai obor tidak sampai selesai, Ia hanya ingin memperkenalkan tradisi ke cucunya.
“Supaya cucu saya tahu, setiap menjelang bulan Ramadan ada kemeriahan pawai obor,” jelasnya. (*)
