Ketua Paguyuban Duta Baca Pangandaran Aldi Nur Fadillah mengatakan upaya mengenalkan duta baca Pangandaran dikalangan pelajar akan menjadi program paguyuban bersama Dinas Perpustakaan Kabupaten Pangandaran.
“Kami akan mengenalkan duta baca ke sekolah-sekolah, untuk menunjukan bahwa mereka bukan hanya menjadi ikon literasi, tapi agen perubahan yang berkolaborasi meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat,” kata Aldi, Jumat (10/3/2023).
Menurutnya duta baca ini harus memberikan manfaat kepada kehidupan masyarakat, tidak hanya lingkupm organisasi, miminal mereka ada efek positif dalam setiap kegiatannya.
“Karena cakupan duta baca itu luas, tidak hanya perpustakaan, namun berbagai elmen kehidupan,” ucapnya.
Aldi mengatakan literasi adalah cara seseorang memahami yang ada di dunia ini, melihat peluang dan peka terhadap situasi yang ada dalam berbagai persoalan kehidupan.
Dalam kegiatan safari literasi ini, Aldi berharap virus literasi dan membaca bisa tersimpan dalam memori mereka setiap dikunjungi. “Duta baca juga menyampaikan betapa pentingnya datang ke perpustakaan sebagai upaya pengembangan diri dan pendewasaan pikiran,” katanya.
