Kepala Puskesmas Padaherang, Suryati menyampaikan, saat ini pihaknya sedang melaksanakan program pemerintah yakni tentang pekan imunisasi nasional (PIN) polio.
“Untuk itu, saya bersama teman-teman kesehatan memberikan informasi atau wawar (woro-woro) kepada seluruh masyarakat yang ada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Padaherang,” kata Suryati disela sela tugasnya di Padaherang.
Tujuannya, agar ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita berusia 0-59 bulan dibawa ke posyandu masing – masing untuk dilaksanakan PIN polio.

Semua desa wilayah kerjanya, didatangi untuk memberikan informasi tentang pelaksanaan PIN polio.
“Karena, mulai hari ini (3/4/2023) pun sudah ada petugas PIN di posyandunya masing -masing. Dan kami targetkan pencapaian di angka 95 persen,” jelasnya.
Hari pertama woro-woro, Ia bersyukur antusias masyarakat sangat baik dalam merespon program PIN polio.
“Karena, PIN ini tidak disuntik, balita hanya diberi tetes saja,” ungkapnya.
Informasi yang diterima sebelumnya, Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat melakukan persiapan vaksinasi polio untuk anak usia 0-59 bulan secara serentak mulai 3 April 2023.
